There needs to be some discussion regarding the term technology in OMDE 603.
possible definitions:

Perhaps a better title for this class would be Foundations of Learning Design, or e-Learning Design. This would better reflect the holistic approach towards technological value, and techniques, of learning.

Interesting thoughts on technology. It does seem like an extremely broad word to encompass so many facets of how the world operates today. And the definitions you posited do not quite align with what I would expect the definition to be! I guess I have never looked it up. I suppose I would argue that we are using technology to create tools to aid in educating from a distance. At least the first half of the class is directed toward the use of some of these tools. The last few chapters, however, have definitely focused on the design aspect. I guess I will have to finish the rest of the course to come up with an appropriate title of my own:)
